He is the founder of WBA. Graduated HS from Newport Harbor where he played 3 years on Varsity. Decided to stay in Orange County to attend Concordia University- Irvine Where he graduated with a BA in Biology- Physical Therapy. There he was apart of several winning teams going to regionals 3 times and making it to the finals 2. In 2006 they made it to the college World Series one of the best teams in school history. From the Coach Torrey played professionally in the Pecos League, Frontier League and American Association in the Indy Ball Circuit. He was fortunate enough to travel the world Managing a Club in Brisbane Australia while working with baseball Queensland in their youth programs. He also spent a season in Hannover Germany Managing the Regents youth and adult baseball programs. State side he spent 7 years at Santa Margarita HS where they won Div1 CIF championship in 2014. Also spent 2 years at Saddle Back Valley HS before Covid and the birth of Whitecaps.
