This is a year round program with practices 4 days a week. Practice goals are: learn to compete, develop high baseball IQ, understand baseball movements at each skill set, and prepare for high school and beyond. We focus on building mental preparedness and confidence. This is not a recreational team. Only players with the desire to be good teammates and work toward their personal best will be accepted into the program.
We do not play games for two months a year: a window around August and December/January. The goal is to allow kids to be healthy.
Fall: League play while we are learning and developing. Consistent reps allow us to maximize learning but not take up entire weekends. We will play 2-3 tournaments end of fall.
Spring: League play and tournaments. We will play 5-6 tournaments from February to May and league games between those weekends. One travel tournament is possible depending on families’ availability.
Summer: Tournament play through summer. One tournament is a destination voted on in the fall.
Our two rules: 1) Be a good teammate and 2) Work ethic is more important than your skill level. Playing time is earned, not given.
As a program, our focus is to develop men of character and resilience. Success as we define it is giving your best effort and having confidence in your ability. When those things are unwavering, the results speak for themselves. While our standards for competing is very high, we will not stunt a players growth just to boost our PG rating.
All of our coaches are professional coaches with many of years of experience playing or coaching at high levels. They are there to coach and develop, and expect players to listen and work hard!
