Our Why- breaking the rules of “travel ball” by creating a program that not only developed baseball skills, but nourishes the young athletes needs to develop in all aspects. while most programs focus on winning games we are staying true to who we are as a program by focusing on the players development and having them motivated to want to work hard. We are always emphasizing the need to put a competitive product on the field I want kids at this age to realize they can have fun but still accomplish their goals.
This is not rec ball! All of our coaches are professional coaches focused on developing kids as if they were in hs. Attention and discipline are required. We want to explode players to their future in club baseball/ HS baseball. Practices will be a combination of competitions, workouts, individual skills and baseball situations. This is a program not a bunch of individual teams. This family works together on and off the field to help them compete in their games!
This is not a program that is worried about PG scores or a quick road to the big leagues. We are not going to play 100 games per year, and charge parents a lot of money to travel the country. we also are not a baby sitting service, players are required to work hard and pay attention!
Create athletes not baseball players. We will focus on a multitude of movements and exercise to create a good athletic base. The core of the baseball side is to introduce basic skill and “homework” to give a player the building blocks for the future. We also want to introduce game situations and a passion to build a huge baseball IQ. We also want to introduce the importance of the mental side of the game and the importance of goal setting, emotional control and team work.
It is important that the kids in our program play multiple sports and activities. While baseball is our favorite, the importance of other sports and activities such as chess are crucial for a players development.
